Join The Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham for our first-ever legislative advocacy day, Capitol Heels. Capitol Heels will be an inspiring dialogue on public policy solutions to accelerate economic opportunity for women, including in-depth discussions with elected officials on issues impacting women and a first look at our inaugural policy agenda. Seating is limited—register today!

Breakfast served.

Registration and breakfast begin at 7:45 am. Program begins promptly at 8:30 am.

Location, Directions & Parking

Location: RSA Plaza Terrace and Grill – Capitol Room (6th Floor)
770 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104

Directions from Birmingham:
Take I-65 South to Montgomery. Merge onto I-85 North via Exit 171. Take Exit 1 (Court Street) and continue straight. Turn left on South Union Street. Turn right on Adams Avenue. The parking deck is located on the left.

Parking:

Please park at the deck located at 777 Adams Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104, directly behind RSA Plaza Terrace and Grill. The deck entrance is between South Union Street and South Ripley Street. There will be a parking attendant on duty from 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM if you have any questions. Once you park, walk to the center doors (the doors directly in front of you when you drive into the parking deck) that lead directly into the RSA Terrace and Grill. Take the elevator to the 6th floor and go to the Capitol Room.

Additional Notes:

  • Dress code is business casual.

  • If you do not already know who your state representative is, please look them up here: http://capwiz.com/state-al/home/. This is especially important if you plan to join us at the State House.

  • If you plan to go to the State House following the event, be mindful that you will have to go through security to enter. Please make sure any bags you bring are free of contraband. We will have a sign in sheet at security that we ask you to sign to avoid long wait times.
